1. About This Platform
CandidateVoice.org is a public platform operated by Education to Action LLC that allows job seekers to anonymously share their experiences with employer hiring processes. The platform is intended to promote transparency, accountability, and informed decision-making in the job market.
By accessing or using CandidateVoice.org — whether to read reviews, submit a review, or interact with any feature of the site — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. User-Submitted Content
Reviews and other content submitted to CandidateVoice.org are provided by users, not by Education to Action LLC. We do not verify the accuracy of individual reviews and do not endorse or guarantee any content submitted by users.
By submitting a review, you represent that:
- The content is based on your genuine, firsthand experience
- The content does not contain knowingly false statements of fact
- You are not submitting the review on behalf of a competitor or as part of a coordinated effort to manipulate ratings
- The content does not violate any confidentiality agreement, NDA, or applicable law
- You have read and agree to our Community Guidelines
By submitting content, you grant Education to Action LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to display, distribute, and use that content as part of the CandidateVoice.org platform.
3. Platform as Intermediary — Section 230
CandidateVoice.org is an interactive computer service as defined under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act (47 U.S.C. § 230). We are a platform, not a publisher or speaker of user-submitted content. We are not liable for content submitted by users.
We exercise editorial discretion through moderation — approving or removing content based on our Community Guidelines — without assuming liability for user submissions.
4. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use CandidateVoice.org to:
- Submit false, defamatory, or deliberately misleading reviews
- Harass, threaten, or target specific individuals by name
- Submit reviews as part of a coordinated campaign to manipulate a company's rating
- Attempt to scrape, copy, or redistribute platform data without permission
- Submit content that violates any applicable federal, state, or local law
- Attempt to circumvent moderation, spam the submission form, or abuse the platform in any way
Violations may result in removal of your content and permanent blocking from the platform.
5. Privacy and Data
CandidateVoice.org collects minimal data. When you submit a review, we collect the content of your review and, optionally, your email address if you choose to provide it. Your email is used only to allow you to update your own review and is never displayed publicly, sold, or shared with third parties.
All reviews are published anonymously. We do not link reviews to any personally identifiable information in our public-facing database.
By using the platform, you consent to the collection and use of information as described above.
6. Moderation and Content Removal
All submissions are reviewed before publication. We reserve the right to approve, reject, or remove any content at our sole discretion, including content that violates our Community Guidelines, appears fabricated, or is the subject of a credible legal complaint.
If you are an organization that believes a review about you contains demonstrably false statements of fact — not negative opinions, but factually incorrect claims — you may contact us at [email protected] with your concern. We will review the submission and respond.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
CandidateVoice.org is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Education to Action LLC makes no representation that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any particular review is accurate.
Users rely on reviews at their own discretion. We encourage users to treat reviews as one data point among many when making career decisions.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Education to Action LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — CandidateVoice.org, including damages arising from reliance on user-submitted content.
Our total liability to any user for any claim arising from use of the platform shall not exceed fifty dollars ($50).
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from use of this platform shall be resolved in the courts of Jefferson County, Kentucky.
