What This Is

Candidate Voice is a free, anonymous platform where job seekers share their experiences with employer hiring processes. Not the job itself — the process. The application portal. The ghosting. The essay responses nobody asked for. The rejection that came three months after you forgot you applied.

As a job seeker, you do not have to be powerless. Candidate Voice is the collective voice of the applicant.

We use verified user reports to uplift employers who respect candidates' time and put on blast those who don't. We want you to know what to expect from a company before you spend hours on their application.

How the Experience Score Works

Every review generates a Candidate Experience Score — a proportional rating calculated only from the fields the reviewer actually answered. Skipped fields and "I don't remember" responses are excluded from both the numerator and denominator, so the score reflects only what was reported.

Each field is scored proportionally — only answered fields count toward your score. Skipped fields and "Don't remember" responses are excluded entirely. Scores are displayed as a percentage and grouped into four bands: Poor (below 25%), Fair (25–49%), Good (50–74%), and Excellent (75%+). A ghosted-only entry scores Poor. A timely formal rejection with no other data scores Good (~67%). Excellent requires a positive outcome plus multiple favorable application conditions. Company pages show an average score across all their reviews, plus a ghosting rate and hire count.

Why This Exists

Like many of you, the frustration of today's job market is real — the endless cycle of applying, the silence, the generic rejections six months after the fact, and the application portals that make you wonder if anyone actually thought about the candidate experience. This platform was built to reclaim some sense of justice in a process that too often treats applicants as disposable.

Employers pour resources into employer branding. Candidates deserve the same transparency in return. If a company has a pattern of ghosting applicants, requiring unpaid labor through take-home assignments, or hiding salary information, job seekers should know that before they invest their time.

All reviews are anonymous. All data is community-contributed. The platform is free and always will be.

Community Guidelines

Reviews must be based on your genuine personal experience with a hiring process. Do not fabricate experiences, impersonate others, or submit reviews intended to harm a company for reasons unrelated to the hiring process. Personal attacks on individual employees are not permitted. Reviews may be removed at any time if they violate these guidelines.
