They should be ashamed for having 4-5 essay responses 750 words max, as a part of a job application. Especially for a senior leadership role with that low of pay. Those kind of essay responses should be asked in an interview. If you are asking candidates to take the time to submit those kinds of responses, you could at least have the courtesy to give more feedback outside of a generic rejection over a month later. Also the job application portal was trash.
