Community Guidelines

Last Updated: January 20, 2026

Our mission is to bring transparency to the job hunt and end the cycle of “ghosting.” To keep this platform helpful for everyone, we ask all contributors to follow these rules.

1. Speak from Experience

Only review companies you have personally interacted with. This includes:

  • Submitting an application.
  • Completing a phone screen or interview.
  • Receiving (or not receiving) an offer.
  • Do not post reviews based on stories you heard from friends, news articles, or general “vibes” about a company.

2. Protect Individual Privacy (No Doxing)

We are here to hold companies accountable, not to bully individuals.

  • Do: Mention the job title or department (e.g., “The Engineering Recruiter” or “The Marketing Team”).
  • Don’t: Use full names, personal phone numbers, or direct email addresses of recruiters or hiring managers.
  • Note: Reviews containing personal identifying information will be removed.

3. Keep it Professional (Even the Bad Stuff)

We know being ghosted is frustrating, but your review is more impactful when it’s objective.

  • Avoid excessive profanity, hate speech, or threats of violence.
  • Focus on the process: How long did it take? What was the communication like? When did the silence start?

4. Be Honest and Accurate

Do not exaggerate your experience or post “revenge” reviews. If a company treated you well, share that too! Positive reinforcement helps the good companies stand out from the “ghosters.”

5. No “Shilling” or Spam

  • For Companies: Do not post fake positive reviews for your own firm.
  • For Users: Do not use reviews to promote your own services, links, or unrelated products.

6. One Voice per Experience

To keep our data accurate, please do not post multiple reviews for the same interview process. One application = one review.
