Terms of Service

Please read these terms before using CandidateVoice.org. By submitting a review or using this platform, you agree to them.

Effective date: October 7, 2026  ·  Operated by Education to Action LLC, Louisville, KY

Please read these Terms of Service (these "Terms"), together with our Community Guidelines and Section 14 (Privacy and Data), which is incorporated into these Terms by reference, before using Candidate Voice, available at candidatevoice.org (the "Site"). The Site is operated by Education to Action LLC, based in Louisville, Kentucky ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site in any way, including reading Reviews, submitting a Review, or using any other feature of the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and represent that you are of legal age to form a binding contract with us and meet all eligibility requirements in Section 2. If you do not meet these requirements, you must not access or use the Site. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Site.

1. About Candidate Voice

Candidate Voice is a free, anonymous platform where job seekers share their experiences with employers' hiring processes, such as application portals, application requirements, communication, and response times. The Site covers the hiring process only. It does not review the jobs themselves or the companies as workplaces. Our goal is to help job seekers know what to expect from a company's hiring process before they spend time on an application.

We are independent of the companies reviewed on the Site. The Site is free to use, and companies cannot pay to have Reviews removed, changed, or ranked. For more about who we are, please visit our About page at https://candidatevoice.org/about.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site. The Site is intended only for individual job seekers who want to share or read about experiences with companies' hiring processes, and not for employers or other business users. Reviews may be submitted only by individuals who applied to or interviewed with the company being reviewed.

3. Geographic Restrictions

Education to Action LLC is based in Kentucky. We provide the Site for use by persons in the United States and make no claim that the Site or any of its content is appropriate or available outside the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for complying with local law.

4. Accessing the Site

We may withdraw or amend the Site, or any feature or material we provide on the Site, in our sole discretion without notice. We will not be liable if all or any part of the Site is unavailable at any time or for any period.

5. User-Submitted Content

The Site hosts reviews, ratings, comments, and other content about companies' job application and interview processes ("Reviews"). Individual users write and submit these Reviews. Reviews are non-confidential and non-proprietary. We do not write them. Each Review reflects only the personal experience and opinion of the user who posted it. It does not reflect the views, opinions, or positions of Education to Action LLC, its officers, employees, or affiliates.

All submissions are reviewed before publication, but only to check whether they comply with our Community Guidelines. This review does not verify accuracy. When the Site describes reports as "verified," this means only that a moderator manually confirmed the submission appears to come from a real applicant. It does not mean that we have checked or confirmed that the content of any Review is accurate, complete, current, or reliable. We do not investigate the facts described in Reviews. We do not guarantee that any Review is truthful, and we are not responsible for any Review or for anything a user does. Experiences with the same company can differ widely by role, location, team, time period, and individual circumstances.

Reviews express opinions. Terms such as "ghosted," and descriptions of how an employer handled an application, reflect the reviewer's own account and characterization of events. They are not findings or statements of fact by us.

By submitting a Review, you represent and warrant that you have the right to grant the license below, and you grant Education to Action LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to display, distribute, and use that Review as part of the Site.

6. Candidate Experience Scores and Company Statistics

The Site automatically calculates a Candidate Experience Score for each Review. For each company, it also displays an average score, a ghosting rate, and a hire count, and the Site may rank companies on a leaderboard (together, "Scores and Statistics"). Scores and Statistics are produced by applying a fixed formula to the information reviewers choose to report. They are not our opinion, rating, or assessment of any company.

Scores and Statistics have important limits:

Scores and Statistics are provided for general information only and are not statements of fact about any company. We may change the scoring method at any time. The current method is explained on our About page.

7. No Affiliation or Endorsement

Unless we clearly say otherwise, we are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any company named or reviewed on the Site. A company appearing on the Site does not mean we endorse, recommend, or approve of that company, its hiring practices, or its products or services. Likewise, a company's absence from the Site does not mean we disapprove of it.

All company names, logos, and trademarks on the Site belong to their respective owners. We use them only to identify the companies being reviewed. The Candidate Voice name and logo are our trademarks and may not be used without our prior written permission.

8. Intellectual Property

The Site’s design, software, text, Scores and Statistics methodology, and the compilation and arrangement of content on the Site, excluding Reviews, are owned by Education to Action LLC or its licensors and are protected by United States and international intellectual property laws.

These Terms permit you to view the Site and print a reasonable number of pages for your personal, non-commercial use. You must not modify copies or remove copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices. No right, title, or interest in the Site or its content is transferred to you, and all rights not expressly granted are reserved. Any breach ends your right to use the Site, and you must, at our option, return or destroy copies you made.

9. No Advice or Guarantees

All content on the Site, including Reviews and Scores and Statistics, is general information only and is not career, employment, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Hiring processes vary and can change without notice, so information on the Site may be outdated or may not apply to you. We do not guarantee the outcome of any application or interview. Do not rely on the Site as your only source of information. Do your own research and, where appropriate, consult a qualified professional before making employment decisions.

10. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for the Reviews you submit. By submitting a Review, you confirm that it:

You also agree to our Community Guidelines, available at https://candidatevoice.org/terms, which are part of these Terms.

11. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Site to:

If you violate these Terms, we may remove your content and permanently block you from the Site.

Linking to the Site. You may link to our homepage in a fair and legal way that does not damage our reputation or suggest our endorsement or association with another site. We may withdraw linking permission without notice.

12. Content Moderation and Removal

All submissions are reviewed before publication. We may approve, reject, or remove any Review or other content at our sole discretion, including content that violates our Community Guidelines, appears fabricated, or is the subject of a credible legal complaint. Approving or not removing a Review does not mean we agree with it or have confirmed it is accurate. We have no obligation to remove any content, and a decision not to remove content does not breach these Terms. We may cooperate with law enforcement or comply with a court order, including by disclosing information we hold when legally required. You waive and hold us harmless from claims resulting from any action we take during or as a consequence of investigations by us or law enforcement.

If you submitted a Review and want to update or remove it, please contact us at education2action@gmail.com.

If you represent a company reviewed on the Site and believe a Review contains demonstrably false statements of fact, you may contact us at education2action@gmail.com. Identify the Review and the specific statements you believe are factually incorrect. We will review your concern and respond. Negative opinions, critical assessments, and unfavorable but honest accounts of hiring experiences are protected expression. We will not remove a Review simply because an organization finds it unflattering.

We cannot ensure prompt removal of objectionable material after it has been posted and assume no liability for any action or inaction regarding transmissions, communications, or content provided by any user or third party.

13. Copyright Complaints

If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a written notice to us at education2action@gmail.com that includes the information required by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)): your physical or electronic signature; identification of the copyrighted work; identification of the allegedly infringing material and where it appears on the Site; your contact information; a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the copyright owner. If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice as the law permits. False claims may result in liability. We may terminate users who repeatedly infringe others' copyrights.

14. Privacy and Data

We collect minimal data. When you submit a Review, we collect the content of your Review and, if you choose to provide it, your email address. We use your email address only to let you update your own Review. We never display it publicly, and we do not sell it or share it with third parties, except as described in the next paragraph.

All Reviews are published anonymously, and we do not link Reviews to personally identifiable information in our public-facing database. However, anonymity is not guaranteed. Details in a Review, such as the role, location, or timing of your application, may allow someone to identify you, especially when combined with other information. Please consider this before you submit. We may disclose information we hold, including an email address, if we are required to do so by law, subpoena, or court order. We may, but are not required to, object to requests for a reviewer's identity, and we do not promise that any objection will succeed.

We will respond to requests for information that could identify a reviewer only if they come through a valid subpoena or court order issued in a pending legal proceeding and properly served on Education to Action LLC through its registered agent of record. If you provided an email address, we will make reasonable efforts, where the law allows, to notify you before we disclose your information so that you have an opportunity to challenge the request.

By using the Site, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in this section.

15. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including company career pages and job postings. We do not control these websites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, privacy practices, or availability. Linking to a third-party website does not mean we endorse it.

16. Platform Role

The Site is an interactive computer service within the meaning of Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act (47 U.S.C. § 230). Under that law, we are not treated as the publisher or speaker of Reviews or other content provided by users. Our moderation decisions to approve, reject, or remove content do not make us the author of that content.

17. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Education to Action LLC and its members, officers, employees, agents, contractors, successors, and assigns from and against any third-party claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or relating to your Reviews, any unauthorized use of Site content, your use of information obtained from the Site, or your violation of these Terms.

18. Disclaimer of Warranties

YOUR USE OF THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. NEITHER EDUCATION TO ACTION LLC NOR ANY PERSON ASSOCIATED WITH EDUCATION TO ACTION LLC MAKES ANY WARRANTY OR REPRESENTATION WITH RESPECT TO THE COMPLETENESS, SECURITY, RELIABILITY, QUALITY, ACCURACY, OR AVAILABILITY OF THE SITE. WE DO NOT REPRESENT OR WARRANT THAT THE SITE OR ITS CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, ERROR-FREE, OR UNINTERRUPTED, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE SITE OR THE SERVER THAT MAKES IT AVAILABLE IS FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PROVIDED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE FOREGOING DOES NOT AFFECT WARRANTIES THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW. You rely on Reviews at your own discretion, and we encourage you to treat them as one data point among many when making career decisions.

19. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL EDUCATION TO ACTION LLC OR ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR SERVICE PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SITE OR ITS CONTENT, UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE, EVEN IF FORESEEABLE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO ANY USER FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED FIFTY DOLLARS ($50). THE FOREGOING LIMITATION DOES NOT APPLY TO LIABILITY FOR OUR GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT AND DOES NOT AFFECT LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

20. Termination

We may suspend or end your access to the Site at any time, for any reason, without notice. We may continue to display Reviews you submitted before termination under the license you granted in Section 5. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should continue after termination, including the license, indemnification, disclaimer, limitation of liability, governing law, jurisdiction, and limitation on time to file claims provisions, will survive.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Changes are effective when posted and apply to all access to and use of the Site thereafter. You are expected to check this page periodically so you are aware of changes that are binding on you. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will also post a notice on the Site before the change takes effect. Changes will not apply to disputes that arose before the change took effect. If you keep using the Site after changes are posted, you accept the revised Terms.

22. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site shall be instituted exclusively in the federal courts of the United States or the state courts of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, in each case located in Jefferson County (Louisville), Kentucky. You waive any and all objections to the exercise of jurisdiction over you by those courts and to venue in those courts.

23. LIMITATION ON TIME TO FILE CLAIMS

ANY CLAIM OR CAUSE OF ACTION YOU MAY HAVE ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SITE MUST BE BROUGHT WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER THE CAUSE OF ACTION ACCRUES; OTHERWISE, SUCH CLAIM OR CAUSE OF ACTION IS PERMANENTLY BARRED.

24. General Terms

These Terms, together with our Community Guidelines and the privacy provisions in Section 14 (Privacy and Data), are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, whether written or oral, about the Site. No waiver by us of any term or condition is a waiver of any other term or condition, and no waiver is a continuing waiver; our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the rest of these Terms will remain in effect. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms, but we may assign them, including in connection with a sale or reorganization of our business. We will not be liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, outages, or government action. These Terms do not create any third-party beneficiaries. All rights and remedies under these Terms are cumulative and not exclusive. Section headings are for convenience only.
