Signal Financial FCU Hiring Process Reviews

My first interview with the VP of Marketing and Engagement went well. She said she enjoyed how it was going and was excited to hear more from me in the next interview session. Nothing from my first interview gave to me that I wouldnt be a good fit, even if I ultimately not selected in the end. I was told that I would receive a take home assignment that would need to be completed before my second interview and presented to a panel. But when I followed up by email and phone, I received no reply. I wasn’t sent any information about the assignment, and I wasn’t even properly denied if they believe that they were looking for a better fit! The original interview was May 19th, my follow up email was sent the 21st, and the second interview was supposed to take place May 28th. I haven’t heard back STILL to this day since my first interview on the 19th.

Worst part: Society likes to preach professionalism and to conduct yourself in a certain manner in the working world but if organizations and businesses don’t even have the couth to reply back and give you a proper reason as to why they no longer are interested, why are we holding potential employees to a higher standard? And then to be expected to do an assignment in the interview process is already insane, but to not follow up AFTER being reached out through multiples lines of contact was intentional and simply a waste of everybody’s time, mainly mine. It’s frustrating, especially how hard it is finding a position and TAKING OFF of work for the day to attend this first interview because I was willing to take that risk, but that’s the cost i guess.
