Completed the screening interview with the recruiter, virtual interview with the hospital VP of HR, 2 panel interviews with 3 participants each, and a final interview with the regional VP of HR. After a bit of a delay and a couple of follow ups on my end, I was emailed by the Sr. Corporate Recruiter the following, "Thank you again for your time and interest in the HR Business Partner opportunity. Following a review of team structure and priorities, the decision has been made not to move forward with recruitment of this role at this time. We truly appreciated the opportunity to connect and were impressed with your background. We would welcome the opportunity to stay in touch with future roles that align with your experience. Best regards,
Best part: The sharing of information regarding the alary and benefits was shared up forint to avoid misunderstandings at the time that any potential job offer was made.
Worst part: I spent quite a bit of time with virtual and in-person interviews only for them to decide that they were not going to fill the advertised role. My opinion is the posting and interview process should not have been initiated if there was that the role would not be filled.
